AH533 & AH571 Architectural Historiography Workshop
"Architectural Historiography Workshop" organized as part of the AH533 and AH571 courses offered by Prof. Dr. T. Elvan Altan on January 5 and 6, 2026. The workshop focuses on late Ottoman and Republican architectures in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Guest lecturers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Göksun Akyürek Altürk and Res. Asst. Dr. Elif Kaymaz will share their experiences in studying the architectural history of these contexts and discuss the theoretical and methodological frames of their research with the attendees.
